About the facilitator
Ceri Davies has been working with AI and automation long before it became a buzzword, from early workflow automation, live chat and bots, through to how large language models can analyse information and support complex organisations.

During her time at Virgin Atlantic, Ceri was closely involved in large scale customer experience and digital transformation work. This included CX orchestration and AI enabled service design, working with platforms such as Genesys, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce and Microsoft Copilot, alongside the introduction of enterprise grade generative AI tools such as Chat GPT.

Over the years, Ceri has seen first hand that AI challenges rarely come from the technology itself. They come from how people use it day to day. That experience is what she now brings into her training and consulting work.

Ceri does not teach AI for computer scientists or developers. She works with SMEs, leaders and non technical teams who want to understand how AI fits into real work, how to use it safely and responsibly, and how to use it to work smarter, increase efficiency and support sales without investing tens of thousands into new software.

Her approach is practical, human led and grounded in real business reality, helping organisations get more value from the tools they already have while protecting trust, judgement and reputation.

90 Minute Agenda
Setting the context
How AI is already being used inside businesses and why most risk does not come from technology, but from everyday behaviour and good intentions.
Understanding where AI exposure actually sits across teams, tools and decision making.
Risk, responsibility and GDPR reality
Where GDPR and data protection risks show up in everyday AI use, often without people realising.
What counts as personal data in an AI context and where businesses are most exposed.
Why informal and unapproved AI use creates risk for the organisation, not just the individual.
Trust, accuracy and decision making
When AI outputs sound confident but should not be trusted.
How hallucinations, bias and over reliance show up in real work.
Why human judgement and accountability still matter.
Safe use without slowing people down
What sensible, responsible AI use looks like in a small business.
How to put simple guardrails in place without killing innovation.
Where leadership responsibility sits and how to support teams rather than restrict them.
